Phase One · Building the Forge

Come be part of something new that God is already doing here.

The Refinery is a new Church of the Nazarene plant in Middle Tennessee. This first website is not a full church hub yet. It is a pre-launch invitation: a warm place to hear the vision, meet the story, and take one real step toward building it.

Primary CTA on every Phase One page: Join the Launch Team. Secondary invitations remain prayer and partnership.

What this season is for

Everything is an invitation.

The brief is clear: this site should feel like an open hand, never a hard sell. It should help strangers, especially people wounded by church before, feel that they could exhale here.

An invitation to belong

A church for people of every story, where honest relationships carry as much weight as polished presentation.

An invitation to be formed

Shaped by the Holy Spirit through worship, the Word, prayer, Communion, and relational discipleship.

An invitation to build

Join the launch team, pray over the work, partner in the mission, and help establish the early culture of the church.

Build in stages

The site grows as the church grows.

  • Phase One · Building the Forge: pre-launch vision, prayer, partnership, and launch team gathering.
  • Phase Two · Firing the Forge: public gatherings, service details, what to expect, and first sermons.
  • Phase Three · The Refinery: a mature ministry hub with events, giving, resources, podcast, and more.
What we avoid

No borrowed megachurch language.

  • No stage smoke, auditorium spectacle, or generic church stock photography.
  • No implied room setup or finished Sunday experience before public launch.
  • No amenities-first messaging. Warmth comes from Christ and His people.
“See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.”
Isaiah 48:10
Behind the name

Forged in the fire.

The fire in Scripture does not discard people. It refines them. That conviction shapes the entire church planting vision: helping people of every story belong, heal, and rise in Christ.

Relational ministry

Where relationship lives

The Relational Incubators carry the warm, table-centered life of the church. They are the spaces where people belong before they believe, heal in honest company, and are formed around food, friendship, and an open Bible.

Belong, Heal, Rise, Serve, Send

The pathway is designed as a real circle because a refined life is not a straight-line program. Visitors can explore each movement and see the next invitation inside it.

Future-ready structure

One clear next step

Help build the forge.

The first people who set up chairs, make coffee, lead worship, pray over the room, and welcome others are being gathered now.
